(More customer reviews)Two basic functions on any phone should be caller ID and a "voicemail waiting"; however, this phone has neither.Even $10 phones at Wal Mart have caller ID, so I'm not sure why they left that feature off.Also, the picture of this phone is misleading, because it shows a number being displayed, as if the phone has caller ID.At least on the box, in big red letters, it states "This Phone is Not Compatible with Caller ID." At any rate, if you don't need caller ID or don't need to be notified when you have messages waiting, I would highly recommend this phone, because it is extremely durable.
