I purchased this phone system several months ago.My overall experience has been positive, but with two qualifications. On the plus side, I have had an excellent experience with signal strength and sound quality. Further, it is very convenient being able to locate handsets in areas of the house which are not near phone jacks. On the negative side, the batteries are not good. In the handset which gets the heaviest use (significant use 2-3 days/week, very limited use the rest of the week), after 4 or 5 hours of talking time I have to recharge (unlike the advertised 8 hours). After about three months, the battery in that particular handset gave up the ghost. Having tried Staples, Walmart and Radio Shack, I will add that it is not easy finding a replacement battery in a local store. Second, because I use the system as a home office phone, I like to have the phone ring throughout the house rather than having callers select a particular handset. As a result, if I am on the line and a second call comes in on the same line, it will not ring over to the Voicemail system. This is a very unfortunate flaw in the design which limits the system's usefulness. On the whole, it is good, not great, and it's a lot of money to pay for something that's only good.
