(More customer reviews)This is a great phone, I have a severe hearing loss (not Deaf) and standard cordless phones just don't have enough volume without getting into the power boost models which are big in size, I have no trouble hearing on this phone and the speaker is loud and clear also. Looks like a lot to set up but it is really easy to set up and to use. small size for tight places and extra handsets are easy to find online and from Amazon..

(More customer reviews)This product won't win any beauty contests, but it does a great job interfacing with a standard telephone and any recording device with the appropriate jack. I use it for work and it's incredibly reliable.

It only records the left channel of audio, however, which makes any recording kinda lop-sided if you listen to it through headphones later. I have to admit: I've never tried the "play" setting and couldn't tell you if it works. But honestly: You're recording your phone call to a tape-deck/mp3 player/md recorder. You're probably going to end up using that machine's capabilities to play it back - not this adapter.

The level of the recording is just a bit quieter than you think it should be, but the quality is fine.

(More customer reviews)I bought this headset to replace a corded one that plugged into my cordless phone. I kept having to replace the corded one because the cord would snag on things when I moved around, and the cord would eventually die. The corded ones were costing me about $25 each. This headset was a lot more expensive, but it is so much better in every way. All of the corded headsets I used had volume problems- 2 just weren't loud enough, and the one that was was just barely so. This headset has a volume control on it, and it is loud enough for me when set about medium. The headset is not cumbersome- no cord to catch on things or come unplugged. I use the headband style attachment, and find it very comfortable. There are several earpieces included and I think that most people would find an option to suit them. I have an older house which is quite solidly constructed. It's hard to hear someone calling out from the other end of the house, even though it's just a 1400 sq ft ranch house. I wondered if reception would be a problem if I got too far from the base, but I have had no problems with that, inside or outside the house. No interference when passing by computers, our Tivo, or the microwave, either. I think this headset will last a long time, and for me it was well worth the higher price. I wondered if I was going to want the lifter or keypad accessories, but have found the headset works fine as is. I wouldn't buy it as a replacement for a second phone, though, as it obviously lacks any way to check caller ID or dial out. I dial on a cordless handset,then put on the headset and turn it on. You can actually turn the handset off, then, I think, but then you won't have caller ID or any way to "flash" to a 2nd call if one comes in, so I leave the handset on. I do have to be careful to remember to turn the handset off when I hang up. I wondered if I had to have AT&T phones to use this headset, but this headset works fine with my Panasonic phones.

(More customer reviews)This new 2009 model of Panasonic's cordless DECT telephones lives up to its advertising.Sound very clear, battery life is long (my actual 1st day experience was 3-5 hr talking with 10+ in standby), and range is longer than my previous Motorola 5 GHZ model (good enough for a 2 story house plus a basement). The model includes cordless handsets, answering machine, and caller ID, as well as voice prompts of incoming caller ID calls.As a plus, the handsets use AAA Ni-MH batteries so easily purchased when they need replacing.My old Motorola used the typical specialized phone Ni-Cd batteries (with that funny connector), that lasted less than a year and a high cost to replace.

Highly recommend this model.The KX-TG 643x and 644x series are all the same except for the number of handsets that come in the package and whether the base station has its own dial capability.This model allows a max of 6 handsets (the 6445 cmes with 5 handsets-so you can purchase one more if needed KX-TGA 641T).

The caller ID list and address book is centralized, so updating updates the file on the base set.My old Motorola had an address book in each handset plus a shared in the base unit.The voice mail box default announcement is a man's voice-would prefer a woman's voice, but you can also record your own announcement

Lastly, the handsets are small(6inch by 1.5 in wide).Not a problem for me but might surprise others.Panasonic sells many DECT 6.0 cordless phones, so do your search carefully.I bought this model because the 64xx model series is new in 2009, plus it has a base station that you can also dial from giving you a 7th telephone set if needed.

(More customer reviews)I'm thinking the people rating this poorly don't understand how to use it. It WON'T split a single Ethernet CONNECTION into two. It WILL enable a single Ethernet CABLE (which has 8 wires) to carry two connections (which require 4 wires each). This is helpful in places where you have a single cable running from your router (typically in a wiring closet) to two devices, and can't easily run a second cable -- i.e., where one cable is already installed in the walls.

Here's how you use it: Run Ethernet cables from 2 ports of your router into the female jacks of the first splitter. Plug the male end of that splitter into the jack in your wiring closet that runs to the part of your house you want. Plug the male end of the second splitter into the Ethernet jack at the other end of that cable run (i.e., in the room where the devices are located). Run Ethernet cables from the female jacks of the second splitter to the devices.

If you want to use a single Ethernet connection for two devices, these splitters won't work; you need a router that shares the connection among the devices.

In-line DSL Filter w/ Splitter Review

(More customer reviews)At first I thought it was a splitter for two phone lines, but instead I found out it was for one line to the phone and a pass through line to the DSL what I was able to do next to my PC was install the splitter in my RJ-45 Phone Module then attach my phone line that went to my DSL modem. On the DSL side of the splitter afterwards I placed a two way adapter on the phone side of the splitter and ran a phone line to my PC modem and another line to my All-In-One Printer.

Everything works GREAT.Also to top everything else off I ordered these items on the 22nd of Nov. in PA and received them on the 23rd, I was shocked.This company goes beyond the call of duty for their respected clients.
