(More customer reviews)I use the Plantronics Voyager 500A, which is great.The handset lifter is an obvious fit so you don't have to lift the receiver from the cradle each time.However, if you are using the RCA Executive Series - 4 line phone, or for that matter any phone hand set that does not have a high arch, the "Lifter" can not fit under the handset.The handset will not sit in the cradle or slides off the cradle.The added extender arm that comes with the Lifter does not cure the problem.I had to send the unit back for a refund.Great idea though, but know that is will not well or at all on such phones.

Con: Does not display the current time, as the packaging leads one to believe. And it suffers from the same problem that all DECT 6.0 cordless phones seem to: lack of range.Those phones start cutting out about 50-75 feet from the base, or closer if I open my refrigerator door or get a motor vehicle between the base and handset. If you want range, go with multiple DECT base units scattered about your residence or stick with 5.8 GHz Spread-Spectrum cordless phones.

Compatible with all Uniden DECT 6.0 digital expandable systems, the Uniden DWX207 set includes a waterproof accessory handset and charging cradle. The handset meets JIS7 waterproof specifications, which means it can be submersed in up to one meter (3.28 feet) of water for 30 minutes without damage. This system is also impact and dust resistant, so it can truly stand up to wear and tear.
For smooth, dependable operation, the DWX207 utilizes DECT (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) 6.0 technology for interference free reception. Additionally, the high visibility message waiting indicator lets you know immediately after you've received a message, and the caller ID/call waiting features display the name and number of the caller in call waiting even when you're already on the phone. (Note: to activate the caller ID features, you must subscribe through your telephone company.) The advanced phonebook feature stores up to 70 names and offers alphabetical search capabilities, and you can choose among several unique ringers and assign them to specific callers so you'll know who's calling before you pick up the phone. There's even a "Do Not Disturb" feature that assures you won't be interrupted whenever you need a little extra peace and quiet. For added convenience, the DWX207 is expandable up to six headsets.

Advanced DECT 6.0 technology, or Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications, operates on the newly released 1.9 GHz frequency band that was recently allocated to support cordless telephony. No one has as many features packed into one small device such as this! I am very impressed with the technical capabilities such as Wireless, Color screen, Speaker phone, Page Handset, hold button, intercom other phones, and more! Most importantly, the sound is very clear(on broadband)... sorry Skype, I liked you first, but I like Yahoo more.

This is not only 2 phones in one (land line & Yahoo! phone), but if you buy more than one, they can be walkie talkies (I talk then you talk), OR they can be speakerphone intercoms too (we both talk at same time)! Each phone can have its own ringer, wallpaper, Display name. And as a busisness user, I can sort each contact as a category (freinds, family, business, VIP, other, school, etc...) and give group thier own ring tone! Like I said very cool phone, and at $80 bucks, well worth the features!!

(More customer reviews)Our previous Siemens Gigaset phone served us well for many years, but the buttons began not to register when pressed.We wanted to buy another Siemens phone since we liked the old one, were familiar with its operation and we appreciated its key features, e.g.you can check messages from any handset and can send contacts wirelessly to the other handsets.Unfortunately, I couldn't find any stores that stocked the newer generation of Siemens Gigaset phones (which looked sleek and feature rich).Furthermore, none of the other DECT phones that were apparently well received appeared to have either of these two key features.Fortunately, I heard that this Verizon V300 phone was made by Siemens and had similarexcellent functionality and features as the Siemens Gigaset phones. We set the phone up today, are pleased to confirm this and we are glad that we chose to buy this phone. This phone is a winner.
